Westville/Pictou – Michelle Mary (Pineau) Clarke, of Porter’s Lane, Westville, and formerly of Pictou, passed away April 15, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow. She was a daughter of the late Peter and Bennie (Profit) Pineau. Michelle was born and raised in Pictou and was a resident of New Glasgow, and Westville for the past 20 years. Surviving are sons, Johnson (Sherri), Saltsprings; Chris, Pictou; and daughter, Cheryl, Westville; sisters: Roxanne (Brian) Johnston, Pictou; Stacy (Ron) Haines, Abercrombie; Mary Pineau (Aubrey), West River; Nicole (Dave) Walsh, Fraser’s Mountain; and brother, Rick (Jill) Pineau, New Glasgow; best friends, Donna and Sandra; nieces, nephews, extended family; and her fat cat, Teddy. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday from the McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou, with Rev. Richard Sand officiating. Burial will be in Seaview Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in her memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
