DASHNER, DR. GEORGE W. Dr. George W. Dashner passed away peacefully at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Frederidton, NB, on December 26, 2004, in his 85th year. Born July 8, 1920. Husband of Kay (Kathleen A. Knoll), father of Kathleen Ford of St. George, NB, George (Jane) Dashner of Fredericton, Joan (Bill) Baker of Ontario, eight grandchildren, Patti (Alex) Halliday, Cathy and Jeff Baker, David Ford, Anna (Mike) Caines, Andrew Ford, Nathania and Jordan Dashner, a sister, Katherine Bulsdon and one brother, Andrew (Beverly) Dashner, several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the St. Stephen Milltown Rotary Club, a beloved veterinarian for the Charlotte County, NB and Washington County, Maine areas for 50 years, long standing member of Christ Church and on the Board of Directors Lincourt Manor. Funeral Services will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Prince William Street, St. Stephen, NB on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Peter Mills officiating. Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB ((506) 466-1844 on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Christ Anglican Church or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
