ESTEY, MURIEL GERTRUDE On Thursday December 30, 2004 Muriel Gertrude Estey of Oromocto passed away at the age of 81. Born in Woodstock, NB she was a daughter of the late Elbridge and Lula (Smith) Carr. Muriel was employed for 27 years as a Dry Cleaning presser. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch # 93. She is survived by two daughters Elizabeth Guthrie and her husband Douglas of Lincoln and Norma Barrieau and her husband Joseph of Geary; seven grandchildren Eric Noble (Sabrina), Tammilynn Noble (Joseph Minor), Jeffery Guthrie, Thomas Guthrie, Jody Barrieau (Jennifer), Michael Barrieau (Buffy Clarke), Jennifer Barrieau; two great grandchildren Caleb Minor, Jayden Barrieau; three brothers Byron Carr of Blissville, Clarence Carr of Rusagonis, Charles Carr of Geary; three sisters Alvina Simmons of Toronto, Carolyn Carr of Geary, Barbara Blake of Toronto; an uncle Robert Boone (Ena Carr); several nieces, nephews and cousins; her extended family at the Foresters Manor in Oromocto and her best friend "Cat". Besides her parents, she is predeceased by four brothers Trueman, Donald, Lee and Coburn Carr; a sister Edith Carr; step-mother Mildred Carr. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton with visitation on Sunday from 4-5 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday January 3, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Geary Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Sparkes and Rev. Bob Jones officiating.
