HOYT, ELLIOTT (SAM) JAMES Elliott (Sam) James Hoyt of Hoyt died at his home on January 4, 2005 at the age of 80. Elliott is survived by his wife Erna Hoyt, two daughters Sheila McCarthy (Albert) of Charters Settlement, Dixie Zizek (Joe) of Alberta, two sons Harold (Jean) and Phillip (Kim) all of Hoyt, one sister Genia Boudreau (John) of Hoyt, two brothers Scovil and Lawrence (Joan) of Hoyt, one stepdaughter Wendy Widmer (George) of Alberta, two step sons Wayne Sutherland of Ontario and Wade Sutherland (Lois) of British Columbia, thirteen grandchildren, two precious great grandsons, several nieces and nephews. Elliott spent most of his life working in the woods and was a Volunteer and the Hoyt Fire Department. He is predeceased by his parents Jennie (Lunnin) and Bayard Hoyt, his first wife Madeline Gilbert, one son Timothy Hoyt and one sister-in-law Donna Hoyt. Elliott's wishes were to have no visitation or funeral. A private interment will be held in Saint Luke's Cemetery.
