CLAYTON HUBERT BRANSCOMBE
BRANSCOMBE, CLAYTON HUBERT Suddenly at home in Chipman, on Friday, January 7, 2005, Clayton Hubert Branscombe, age 78 years. Born in Chipman, son of the late Hazen and Maude (Boyd) Branscombe. Clayton worked many years in logging camps and was also employed by DOT for thirty years as a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife Reta (Brown) Branscombe; by son Vaughan Branscombe of Fredericton; by five grandsons Michael of Edmonton, Trevor of Brantford, Ward of Hamilton, Patrick and Travis of Fredericton; one brother Sterling of Chipman; two sisters Glenna (Malcolm) McNamara of Hardwood Ridge and Norna (Alvin) Fairweather of Cumberland Bay. He is predeceased by his son Warren, by sister Sara and infant sister Geraldine and by brother Douglas. Clayton will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Sunday when funeral services will be held from Saint Augustine's Anglican Church, Chipman, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.Eileen Irish officiating. Spring interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saint Augustine's Church or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
