EVERETT HANSON MURRAY
MURRAY, EVERETT HANSON The death of Everett Hanson Murray, husband of Mary Ida (Pond) Murray occurred on Saturday January 8, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Prince Edward Island he was the son of the late Jesse Whitlock and Mabel (Hanson) Murray. Everett was a self employed Market Gardener and was also a Veteran of World War II where he served time in Holland. In addition to his wife Everett was survived by three sons Dale Murray (Ann Fillmore) of Grand Lake, NB, Keith Murray (Brenda) of Grand Lake, NB and Alan Murray (Vicky) of Durham, NB; seven grandchildren Stacey, Curtis, Krista, Christopher, Jeramy, Candice and Brandon; two sisters Hazel Murray of Fredericton, NB and Clara Burlamachi of Boston, USA and several nieces and nephews. Besides his mother he was predeceased by two brothers Charles and Raymond; three sisters Ida, Eunice and Hester. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive Fredericton North on Monday January 10, 2005 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11am from the T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. The burial will take place in the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery at a later date. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 are asked to assemble at York Funeral Home Monday at 7 pm for a Tribute Service.
