WILLAR, DONALD HENRY The death of Donald Henry Willar of New Maryland, husband of Margaret (Porter) Willar occurred on Monday, January 10, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in St. John's, NFLD, he was a son of Donald and Lillian May (Snow) Willar. Mr. Willar was a Chemical Engineer at the University of New Brunswick, served with RCOC for 25 years and was an avid fisherman. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Donald (Mary) Willar and Robert (Brenda) Willar all of Fredericton, and William (Valerie) Willar of Fredericton Junction; two daughters, Margaret (John) Hardie of Burton and Tara (Kevin) Estabrooks of Fredericton; five grandchildren, Lisa, Adam, Jamie, Sarah and Emily; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother Arthur; and two sisters, Priscilla and Enid. Visitation will be take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, January 11th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
