Passed away as peacefully and gracefully as she lived on June 12, 2008 at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, Gloria Alice Eddy (age 58) of North Harbour after a courageous three year battle with Cancer. Predeceased by her father George Stacey, sister Shirley (Snook) Inkpen and infant sister Thelma Connors. Left with many fond and loving memories are her husband Ralph; children Lorraine (George) Carey of Spencerville, ON, Lynnette (Stephen) Pafford and Carson (Trina) Eddy, all of Sylvan Lake, AB. Also left to mourn are her mother Edith Stacey; sister Joan (Roy) Gilbert; brothers George (Connie) Connors and John Connors (Cherry Dalley); six grandchildren who she loved, cherished and adored, William and Grace Carey, Liam and Emma Pafford, Taylor and Leighton Eddy; and a very large circle of family and friends. Remains will be resting at Bethel United Church, North Harbour with cremation and interment to follow at United Church Cemetery. Donations are gratefully accepted for the charity of Gloria's choice, Daffodil Place, St. John's. A Home away from Home for future cancer patients. Rest in Peace Sweet Mother. We love you.
