WADDINGHAM, ROLAND JOHN On Monday January 24, 2005, Roland John Waddingham of Fredericton, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital at the age of 84. Born in St. Stephen, NB and a self employed businessman, he served overseas from 1939-1945 with the 105th AntiTank and landed at Juneau Beach on D. Day. He also served in other campaigns in Europe. Roland was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch #4. He is survived by 2 sons Randy (Sandra) and Rollie Jr. of Fredericton; 2 daughters Pam Hughes and Susan Horsnell (Derek) of Fredericton; Myrna Waddingham, the mother of Randy, Rollie Jr., Pam and Susan; 10 grandchildren Peter and Lindsay Hughes, Andrea Hoyt (Jason), Krista Bowen (Dave), Heather McKinnon, Andrew and Bradley Waddingham, Hollie Waddingham, Carla Waddingham, Colby Waddingham; 4 great granddaughters Leah, Kayla, Megan and Jordan. The family will receive friends at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Friday January 28, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Harry Waugh officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Royal Canadian Legion branch #4 will hold a tribute service on Thursday evening at 6:45 pm www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
