DIONNE, DONALD CECIL The death of Donald Cecil Dionne of Stanley, husband of Carla (Dorcas) Dionne occurred on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on February 7, 1960 in Bath, NB, he was a son of Enoil and Alice (Richard) Dionne. Donald was a floor installer for Tommy's Flooring. He was a Board Member of Stanley Minor Hockey Association, Assistant Coach and Manager of Stanley Bantom Bulldogs. Devoted husband and father who enjoyed hunting, fishing and four wheeling. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. In addition to his wife and parents, Donald is survived by a daughter, Jaymi Dionne (Adam) of Saint John and a son, Samuel Dionne of Stanley; two sisters, Juliet Dalton (Dougie) of Fredericton and Donna Merrill (David) of Sussex; three brothers, Leonard Dionne of Napadogan, Romeo Dionne and Ricky Dionne both of Fredericton; one sister-in-law, Angela Boudreau (Mike) of Chipman and In-laws, Peggy and Lenny Anderson of Stanley; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 3 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest United Church Cemetery, Stanley at a later date. Pallbearers for the service are his nephews: Michael Boudreau, Dale Dalton, Jonathan Dionne, Eric Merrill, Glen Merrill and Stephen Newman. Honorary Pallbearers are the Stanley Bulldogs.
