SCOTT GREENCORN
GREENCORN, SCOTT The death of Scott Greencorn occurred suddenly on Tuesday, February 1st, 2005. Born in Hamilton, ON, he was the son of Alex and Myrtle (Fleet) Greencorn and the husband of Diane Glazer. Survived by his wife, Diane, his parents, one son, Jamie Greencorn of Fredericton; one daughter, Jennifer Gallant (Robbie) of Fredericton, three step- daughters, Christina, Amanda and Lori Walsh all of Fredericton; two brothers, Ian Greencorn (Patty) of Port Hawkesbury, NS and Glen Greencorn (Brenda) of Lower Sackville, NS; one sister, Gwen Stewart (John) of Cole Harbour, NS; and several nieces and nephews. An employee of the Canada Customs Agency, he was an active member of the organization's honour guard. Scott was involved with the Royal Canadian Air Cadet organization for much of his life. As a cadet and an Officer in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia and as a civilian instructor, Officer, and Commanding Officer for 333 Squadron in Fredericton. Through the Air Cadet movement Scott earned his private pilot's license and instructed numerous students in the program. An active member of the Fredericton community, Scott worked in various capacities with the United Way and other service organizations. Proud of his family, his community, and his country, he will be missed by all who knew him and by all whose life he touched. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, on Friday, February 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Saturday, February 5th, 2005 from 2-4 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa's Catholic Church on Saturday, February 5th, 2005 at 7:00 pm. Rev. John Jennings will officiate.
