EUREKA - Pearl Winnifred Bell, 71, of Eureka, Pictou County, died Monday, July 23, 2007, in the QEII, Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Trenton, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Agnes (MacGillivary) Cameron. She was a resident of Eureka for most of her life with the exception of her younger years having been spent in Hillside. She was a member of the former Wesley United Church in Eureka. She is survived by sons: Donnie, Billy and Allan, all of Eureka; a daughter, Karen (Fred) Sangster, Centerdale, Pictou County; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Donald, New Glasgow; a sister, Gertie, New Glasgow; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert (Bob); a son, Larry, a grandson, Oakley; and twin sisters, Rosie and Theresa. Her remains will rest in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton, for visiting from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today from where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be in the MacLean Cemetery, Hopewell, Pictou County. Donations in memory of Pearl may be made to the SPCA.
