LYONS, RICHARD CLINTON The passing of Richard "Leroy" Clinton Lyons occurred at home on February 9, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Richard is survived by his wife of 38 years Marjorie (Roach) Lyons; one daughter Janet (Tim) Estey of Bull Lake; two sons, Richard (Amanda) Lyons of Noonan and Corey at home. Richard enjoyed his grandchildren, Kenny, Derrick, Austin, Quentin, Misty, Mike, Michelle and Brianna. His brothers Eric (Beverly) Lyons and Jimmy (Donna) Lyons. His sisters Sally (Ken) Smith, Helen (Howard) Gallagher and Sheila Lake (Doug), and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mom and dad Dorothy and Clinton Lyons. Richard loved his grandchildren and the Montreal Canadians. Visitation will be on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A Funeral Service will take place at the Corbett Avenue Wesleyan Church on Saturday, February 12th, 2005 at 2 pm with Pastor Peter Thomas officiating. Pallbearers will be Kenny Banks, Bill Curtis, Rusty Sullivan, Davey Wilson, Joey McGarvey and Donny Parker. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
