FOSS, GEORGE S. The death of George S. Foss of Salmon Creek, NB occurred Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home, Minto. Born in Oromocto, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Violet (Drost) Foss. In addition to his wife Margaret (Boyne) Foss of Salmon Creek, George is survived by two sons, Howard Foss (Wendy) and Donald Foss (Cheryl) both of Salmon Creek; three daughters, (Roberta) Bobbie Steffe (Wolfgang) of Fredericton, NB, Ramona Korpi (Brian) of Thunder Bay, ON and Colleen Mooren (David) of North Forks, NB; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; five brothers, Ronald (Minnie) of Fredericton, Earl (Eileen) of Saint John, Murray (Betty) and Roger both of Salmon Creek and Gordon (Eileen) of Ontario; three sisters, Eileen Craig (Don) of Fredericton, Marion Galbraith of Salmon Creek and Esther Kostick of Niagara Falls; and several nieces and nephews. His son Ernest, and brothers, Raymond, Harold and Kenneth predeceased him. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 7-9 and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2005 at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Chipman. Interment will take place in the Redbank United Church Cemetery at a later date.
