THURROTT, GLADYS E. Gladys E.Thurrott, 99, formerly of Church Court, Moncton, passed away at Grass Home in Riverview on Tuesday, February 22, 2005. Born in Coles Island, NB. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Vella Patterson. Gladys was a former teacher having taught in Moncton and surrounding areas. She was a graduate from Normal School in 1922. She was a member of St. John's United Church. A former member of the U.C.W. and the I.O.D.E. and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Keeler and her husband Harold of Poland, Ohio, USA, one son, Lee Thurrott and his wife Barbara of Riverview, 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Gladys was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Thurrott and by three sons Norman, David and Paul Thurrott and by a brother, Frank Patterson. Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St., Moncton on Friday, February 25, 2005 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
