MRS. CHRISTIE S. ROBINSON

ROBINSON, MRS. CHRISTIE S. Mrs. Christie S. Robinson, widow of Freeman Robinson, of 603 Main Street, Doaktown, NB, passed away early Friday morning at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB, at the age of 98. Born in Doaktown, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Annie (Stewart) Gaston. She was a homemaker and a store keeper. She was a member of St. Thomas United Church, Doaktown, NB. She is survived by three daughters, Erma B. Brady (Roger) of Ohio, Ruth MacKenzie (Fred) of Doaktown, Bonnie Parker (Delbert) of Sault Ste Marie; One son, Ben (Bernice) Robinson of Shediac; One sister, Mrs. Eva Storey of Doaktown; 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by one sister, Peggy Jonah (Reg); Two brothers, William and Leslie Gaston. Mrs. Christie S. Robinson rested at Davidson's Funeral Home, 579 Main Street, Doaktown, NB, with visitation on Saturday, March 5, 2005. The funeral service was held Sunday, March 6, 2005, at 2 p.m. from St. Thomas United Church, Doaktown, NB, with Reverend Heather Froats officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery later in the spring. Organist was Janice Price. Hymns were "How Great Thou Art" and "In the Garden". Eulogy was given by her daughter Bonnie. At the request of the the family in lieu of flowers donations made to St. Thomas United Church or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
