HOPKINS, VERA EILEEN Vera Eileen Hopkins died of cancer on October 25, 2004 in Ottawa, Ontario. Vera was the daughter of the late Foulton Kendrick and the late Ivy (Church) Kendrick of Cape Island, N.S. Vera was born 1936 in River Head, N.S. She is survived by her devoted husband William Burtt "Hoppy" Hopkins; loving sons Don and John Hopkins; daughters-in-law Trudy Hopkins and Debby Begg; grandchildren Jillian and Joelle Hopkins, Angie and David Hopkins and Chelsey Healey; and great grandchildren Lysander Dubue and Josh Ladoucer; sisters Leora Tingly of Digby, N.S., Helen Leed of New Market, Ontario, Shirley Sinclair of Scarborough, Ontario; brothers Alphias Kendrick of Cape Sable Island, N.S., Nelson Hatfield of Sutton, Ontario and Buddy Hatfield of Endora, AB. She was loving to one and all around her, her caring and kindness will be truly missed. The Hopkins family would be pleased if you join us in a memorial celebration of her life in the Upper Gagetown United Baptist Church on July 31st, 2005 at 2 p.m. There will be a reception to fellow at the Upper Gagetown Loin's Club Hall.
