(nee Rice) Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family, after a short battle with cancer, Frances Mary Wicks, aged 77 years. Predeceased by her husband, Albert John Wicks. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Art (Marie), Jeannette Aylward, Karen Dawe (Calvin), Linda, John (Regina); grandchildren: Brian and Victoria, Emma, Julian and Riley, Charmaine and Richard and two great-grandchildren: Madison and Emily; sisters and brothers; and a large group of family and friends. Family will be receiving visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
