MOODIE, ROBERT LESLIE After a short illness at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Saturday, March 19, 2005, age 77. He will be sadly missed by his four children, Janet (Patrick Michael), Ian (Pamela), David (Yuriko) and Michael (Patti Kazowski) and seven grandchildren; Meghan, Sean, Jake, Ella, Kelly, Kana and Livia. Beloved brother to Joyce Pincott. Also fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law , John C. McNair and John Pincott, his sister-in-law, Janet Scarfe, many nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Nancy (nee McNair) and his parents, Alvin and Ethel (nee Wilson) Moodie. Born and raised in Montreal, Bob graduated from University of New Brunswick in 1948 with a BScF. His career as a forester took him to northern Ontario, Maine, Alabama, Quebec and finally to Kanata, where he and Nancy spent the more than 30 years. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean on Wednesday, March 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Highland Park Cemetery.
