TORONTO – Robert Arnold Robertson, 83, of Toronto, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on May 22, 2008. Formerly of Broadway, Pictou County, he was the son of the late Mabel (Chisholm) Robertson Germaine and the late William Robertson. Robbie is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; children: Brian (Heather), Sherry, Danny (Anitta), Joseph (Sherry) and Benjamin (Manuela); his 12 grandchildren; his loving aunt, Margaret Chisholm, New Glasgow; and half-brother, Harold Mattie, Monastery. He was predeceased by his sister, Doris Heighton Carde. A service of committal will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 17th, 2008 at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens with Rev. Richard Sand officiating.
