South Rustico, PEI / New Glasgow, NS - The death occurred on July 16 of Samuel Edward MacDonald, son of Andrew Francis and Edith MacDonald. Born and brought up in the North End of New Glasgow, formerly of Orion Avenue, he attended St. John's School in his earlier years. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife the former Hilda Arsenault, PEI; two sons, Darryl, Ontario; Christopher, PEI; two grandchildren, Hannah and Nicholas; three sisters: Marjorie (Sid), Little Harbour; Andrea, Stellarton; Kimberley (Whit), New Glasgow. He was predeceased by a brother, Andrew Alan. The funeral was held in South Rustico, PEI on July 19, with burial in the church cemetery.
