MOORE, HEDLEY J. The passing of Hedley John Moore, 77, of Fredericton, husband of Doris B. (Caverhill) Moore, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on June 5th , 2005. Born August 6th, 1927 at Prince William, NB, he was a son of the late Ersel and Espy (Craig) Moore. Hedley was a distributor for Humpty Dumpty for 13 years and later established a monument business, "Moore's Monuments" of which he was owner and operator. He was a member of the Shriners and Masons as well as a member of the Prince William United Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris B. (Caverhill) Moore; a son Richard and his wife Glendine of Fredericton; two daughters, Terry Hawkins and her husband Calvin of Yellowknife, N.W.T. and Connie Baiton (Bud) of Edmonton, Alberta; four grandchildren, Robert and Jimmy Hawkins, Colin Moore and Jennifer Baiton; five great grandchildren, Robyn, Jada, Tristin, McKinley and Hudson Hawkins; also surviving are his two brothers, Philip Moore of Prince William and Shirley Moore and his wife Bernice of Belleville, Ontario; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and a brother Craig Moore. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, where visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8th, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating assisted by Rev. H.G. MacKenzie . Pallbearers will be Colin Moore, Fred Arnold, Wayne Williams, Jim Boone, Terry Chase and Kevin Moore. Interment in the Douglas Rural Cemetery. Memorials to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Shriners would be appreciated by the family. www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
