
MACDONALD MACLAGGAN
MACLAGGAN, MACDONALD MacDonald "Mac" MacLaggan, survived by his wife of 63 years, Ina (Stewart) MacLaggan, of Nashwaak Bridge, NB passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, NB. Born on August 12, 1921 in Nashwaak Bridge, NB, he was a son of the late Fred and Annie (MacDonald) MacLaggan. Mac was a Woods Worker most of his early life. Later in life he worked at Chestnut Canoe Co. in Fredericton, NB and was a Custodian at Lounsbury Industrial, Fredericton, NB until ill health forced his retirement. He is survived by his daughter Shirley (Garnet) Hay of Williamsburg, NB; two granddaughters, Darlene (Steven) Hawkes and Velvet (Robert) Humble both of Florida; six great-grandchildren, Johnathan, James, Jacob and Matthew Humble and Michael and Brittany Hawkes; three brothers, Rolfe MacLaggan of Fredericton, Bill (Gracie) MacLaggan of Fredericton and Lloyd MacLaggan of Boiestown; and one sister Gertrude MacDonald of Nashwaak Bridge, NB. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by three brothers, Fred Jr., Lyle and George MacLaggan; as well as two sisters, Ruby Fullarton and Grace Manzer. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 11 am from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gordon Mowry officiating and Rev. Patrick MacAloon assisting. Pallbearers are Douglas MacDonald, Peter MacLaggan, David Stewart, Timothy MacLaggan, Laurie Fullerton and Gary English. Honorary Pallbearers are Samuel MacLaggan, William MacDonald, Ernest Farrer, Louie Doiron and Fraser Manzer. Interment will take place at Nashwaak Bridge Cemetery, Nashwaak Bridge, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Nashwaak Bridge Cemetery or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
