MORRISON, PAUL ASHLEY On Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, Paul Ashley Morrison of Woodstock, NB. Born at Bear Island, NB 1919 to the late Almon and Neil (Jordan) Morrison. Survived by his wife, Blanche Ingraham (Morrison) of Woodstock. Sons Michael (Linda) Baford, NS, Daniel, Fredericton, NB, Timothy (Kathy) Fredericton, NB, two grandchildren, Michelle Hill (Stephen) Bedford, NS, Christopher Morrison, Halifax, NS, a great granddaughter Hannah Hill, Bedford, NS. Predeceased by his sister Inez Folton. Paul was a veteran of WWII, Enlisted in 89th Battery, 5th Field regiment RCA. Served as artillery signaler, 1st field regiment RCIIA, Italy and Holland. Following the war, served in 3rd field regiment, 89th battery Militia Woodstock, NB. He was employed over 25 years in public service with National Revenue Canada Customs and Excise, Woodstock/Houlton port of entery. Paul was in many Community service clubs such as The Royal Canadian Legion, Annavets, Woodstock Fish and Game and the Miramichi Salmon Anglers Association. He loved the outdoors and was a very accomplished fisherman and hunter. Sadly missed by his family and hopes of good fishing as he sets sail on his next journey. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, Jacksonville, NB, where friends may call on Monday June 13 from 2-4, 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM from St. Likes Anglican Church in Woodstock. Interment will follow at Bear Island Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Anavets.
