FAIRWEATHER, JOAN M. (MILLER) Born February 27, 1931 passed away peacefully at home in Cumberland Bay on June 28, 2005, after a lengthy period of failing health. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ralph L. Fairweather; her two sons Gary A. Fairweather of Canaan, NB; Roy D. Fairweather of Cumberland Bay; two daughters Diane M. Lewis of Canmore AB; Judy A. Weaver (John) of Coal Creek, NB; by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; her sister, Bertha Whalen (Ronald) and family of Chatam, N. J; her two aunts Olla Gunter (Clifford) of Jemseg, NB and Beulah Orchard of St. Stephen, NB; by two brothers in law Alvin and Waldo (Ida) Fairweather of Cumberland Bay, NB. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Monday, July 4, 2005 when the family will receive visitors from 1-3 pm. with the memorial service immediately following at the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at the Cumberland Bay United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Cumberland Bay United Cemetery Fund or charity of choice. Grandchildren will act as Urnbearers.
