ROBERT ERNEST MACFARLANE
MACFARLANE, ROBERT ERNEST Robert E. MacFarlane of Temperance Vale passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on July 8, 2005. Born in East Waterville, York Co., NB in 1919, he was a son of the late David L. and Violet M. (McHatten) MacFarlane. Robert was a Veteran of the Second World War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening and all outdoor activities. Robert took great pride in all his daughters, their families and his grandchildren. Robert is survived by five daughters, Norma Liston (Earle), Prince George, BC, Sheila Elsliger (Barry), Rossville, Charlene Chatterton (Roch Theriault), Upper Queensbury, Janet Nozzolillo (Ken Gallagher), Nackawic and Carla Parker (Andrew), Woodstock; 11 grandchildren, Annette Walske (Jim) and Brent Liston (Gina), both of Prince George, BC, Marley Dempsey (Tracy), Rossville, Andrew Chatterton (Angie), Collingwood, ON, Jason Chatterton (Lexi) and Adam Chatterton (Lisa),both of St. Thomas, ON; David Nozzolillo, Illinois, Nicholas and Anthony Nozzolillo, both of Nackawic, Ryan and Madison Parker, Woodstock; two stepgrandchildren, Kim Myshrall (Jason) and their son, Tristan, Nackawic and Jason Elsliger, Fredericton; two great grandchildren, James and Justin Walske, Prince George, BC; two sisters, Dorothy Pickard and Ida Carson (Paul), both of Nackawic; five sisters-inlaw, Alice MacFarlane, Maudie MacFarlane, Doris MacFarlane, all of Fredericton, Flossie MacFarlane, Temperance Vale, Joan MacFarlane, Millville; two brothers-in-law, Paul Richardson (Barb), Millville and Claire Richardson (Irene), St. Catherine, ON; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Helen J. (Richardson) MacFarlane in 1967, two sisters, Nina Morrison and Edith MacFarlane and six brothers, Harold, Merle, Gerald, George, Paul and Perley MacFarlane. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Royal Canadian Tribute Servicewill be held on Sunday at 6:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday, July 11, 2005 at 2 p.m. Pastor David Carter officiating.
