COLE, DORIS (HODGSON) At her home in Fredericton, NB on Saturday July 23, 2005, Doris Cole (Hodgson) passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 71. Born in Harvey Station, NB she was a daughter of the late William Ralph and Della Mae (Rosborough) Hodgson. She is survived by her husband Dana Lester "Les" Cole; two daughters Eva Mae Allen (Dennis) of Indiana, Patricia "Tish" Hodgson (Claudie Carr) of Geary; one son Vernon Hodgson (Patricia) of Fredericton; grandchildren Kevin Hodgson (Tanya King) and special pet Belle, Melissa Allen, Sarah Hodgson (Alex) and several other grandchildren; one sister Helen Grant (Paul) of Canterbury; two brothers Harold "Bud" Grant (Bernice) of Fredericton Junction and William "Lloyd" Hodgson (Bev) of Fredericton; several nieces, nephews (especially The Downies) and cousins; her extended families and the father of her children Earl Bailey. She was also predeceased by a daughter Shirley Hodgson; a sister Louise Downie (Nick); "Old Mom & Old Dad" and Uncle Albert. Doris loved to go four wheeling. She leaves behind wonderful memories for all who had the opportunity to know her. The world was a better place because of her and she'll be extremely missed by all, but never forgotten. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton with visitation Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
