O'NEILL, EVERETT WILLIAM The death of Everett William O'Neill, husband of Margaret (Daley) O'Neill, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 7, 1930 in Chelmsford, NB, he was a son of the late Stanley and Lillian (McLean) O'Neill. Everett retired from Glidden Paints after 21 years, and was the custodian for the Garden Creek and Kingsclear schools. He liked to play cards with his sons, watching the Blue Jays, and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed his time at the VON adult day care centre. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons; Daniel of Stanley, NB, Keith of Saint John, NB and Patrick of Fredericton, NB; two grandchildren, Joshua and Benjamin O'Neill; three brothers, Gerard (Hazel) of Nelson, NB, Loran of Etobicoke, ON, and Stanley of Mississauga, ON; one sister, Theresa (John) Heffern of Sunderland, ON; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Sunday, August 7th, 2005 at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 8th , 2005 at 11 am from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church with Father John Keoughan officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the organization of the donor's choice, will be appreciated by the family.
