Born at Benton, on March 5, 1923, son of the late Archibald and Vera (Porter) MacIlroy. Survived by his family are Marjorie Ann Spence (John); Shirley Mae Yerxa (Charles Rev.); Irene Evelyn Cahill (Wayne); Michael MacIlroy (Jackie) ; sister, Edna Forchet; companion Ruth Lozier and family. Eleven Grandchildren and six great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Kenneth MacIlroy. Resting at The Culberson Funeral Home 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB . No visitation by request. Funeral to be held on Monday, August 8, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from The Culberson Memorial Chapel. Interment at Benton Community Cemetery.
