FILLMORE, JEFFREY HERBERT The death of Jeffrey H. Fillmore, 44, of Lincoln, NB occurred August 9th, 2005 at the Oromocto Public Hospital, after seven months of valiantly fighting leukemia. He was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on August 29th, 1960. He was the son of Dr. Herb C. Fillmore and the late Anne (Campbell) Fillmore. He grew up in Oromocto, Fredericton and Princess Park. He graduated from Minto Memorial High School and NBCC Saint John Campus. Jeff was employed by the NB Department of Transportation as a welder in Fredericton for many years. He was an avid water fowler and deer hunter (bucks only) and was a member of Ducks Unlimited, the Ruffed Grouse Society, Grand Lake Masonic Lodge #47 and the Scottish Rite as well as CUPE Local 1190. He is survived by his wife Angela (Bull) Fillmore and his step-children Haley and Evan Simonds of Lincoln; his father, Herb and Karen Love of Lakeville Corner, NB; his sister, Carolyn (Fillmore) McKinley and her husband Mike McKinley of Fredericton; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his mother and his sister, Kathryn. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A memorial Service will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, August 12th, 2005 at 2 pm. The Rev. Dale Greer will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date at the Riverbank Cemetery in Norton, NB. Honorary pallbearers will be; Nick Burden, Roger Curtis, Vernon Beers, Dave Clyde, Chris McNee, Brice McCracken and Allan Bishop. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Jeff, the family has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society for Leukemia Research, the Shriners Children's Hospital, Oromocto Public Hospital Foundation Inc. for Palliative Care or the charity of the donor's choice.
