RODGERSON, LEONARD (LENNY) D. The passing of Leonard (Lenny) David Rodgerson of Geary, NB occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Monday, August 22, 2005. He was 67. Born at Tracy, NB, on March 6, 1938, he was a son of the late Edgar and Jennie (Jones) Rodgerson. Lenny was an adherent of the Geary Baptist Church and was a life long affiliate with the United Association of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 772, Fredericton. He worked in construction as a Pipe Fitter and for 19 years was a Welder at Base Gagetown. He was also a self-employed Licensed Mechanic. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Loretta P. (Nash) Rodgerson; one son, Leonard and wife Michelle of Calgary, Alberta; six daughters, Martha Player (Wayne) of Haneytown, Wendy Carr (Randy) of Geary, Brenda Munn (Lee) of Geary, Velda Gaudet (Roger) of Burton, Linda Hastings (Richard) of New Hampshire and Gail Rodgerson of Haneytown; Kimberly Dupuis (Sam) of Oromocto; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; six sisters, Shirley Douthwright, Alice Kennedy (Charles), Edna Rathburn (Delbert), Hazel Rodgerson, Isabell Rodgerson and Donna Cyr (Dennis); two brothers, William Rodgerson and Bruce Rodgerson; nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and a brother, Douglas Rodgerson. Resting at his residence, 860 Broad Road, Geary, on Wednesday and Thursday, August 24th and 25th from 24 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Geary Baptist Church on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Greg Sparkes officiating. Cremation to follow with burial at a later date.
