DORAN, JOSEPH LEO Joseph Leo Doran of Durham Bridge, NB, passed away peacefully at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on August 31, 2005, at the age of 78. He was born in Miramichi (Newcastle), NB, on March 14, 1927. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a Veteran. He was actively involved in the formation of the Local Service District, the Nashwaak Valley Fire Department and the Nashwaak Valley Recreation Centre. Survived by his loving wife, Donna (Shrimpton) Doran; two daughters, Shannon Doran (Ben), Donna Doran (Rob); two sons, Terry Doran (Deb) and Bill Doran (Michele); three grandsons, Ryan, Jeremy and Justin; two granddaughters, Jasmine and Britt; two sisters, Fran Richardson (Ritchie) and Evelyn Wark. Predeceased by his parents and a number of brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation at the request of the family. Interment will take place at the Nashwaak Centennial United Church at a later date. The family welcome friends to attend a reception to be held at the Nashwaak Valley Community Centre, Durham Bridge, NB on Saturday, September 10, 2005 from 2 to 4 pm.
