PORTER, MARGUERITE MARION The death of Marguerite Marion Porter, wife of the late Perley Porter, of Fredericton, NB occurred on September 2, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Mactaquac, on April 2, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Glazier and Melva (Love) Currie. She was a member of Greenwood Drive Baptist Church, Fredericton, NB. Marguerite is survived by one son, Everett Porter (Sandra) of Fredericton, NB; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Scott of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her son, Gerald Porter; two brothers, Garret and George; and six sisters, Blanche Currie, Elizabeth Smith, Dorothy Davidson, Harriet Staples, Evangeline Lancaster and Helen Rogers. At Marguerite's request, there will be no visitation, a private funeral service held at a later date. Interment will take place at Sunny Bank Cemetery.
