ANNETTE MARIE SACOBIE
SACOBIE, ANNETTE MARIE Born in Fredericton, N.B. on March 15, 1941, peacefully passed from this world after a brief illness on September 21, 2005 at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, USA. Annette graduated from Fredericton Business College at the top of her class and then moved to Hartford, Connecticut where she made her home and was employed by the Hartford Probate Court for the last 43 years. Annette was beyond generous and was involved with and gave to countless charities including the March of Dimes. She was an avid reader and loved music and poetry. She was also a sports fan and cheered on the Boston Red Sox's and UCONN Huskies basketball. She is survived by a sister Sylvia (Gerard) MacPhee, brother Carl (Kathy) Sacobie, nephews Dennis (Tammy), Hubert Jr. (Maxine), Neil Donald (Gabrielle), Shane and Corey (Oona), nieces Charlene (Bill), Annette (Michel), Clarissa (Angus), Katie (Willie) and Candy. She also leaves many beloved friends and co-workers in Hartford, Connecticut. She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Clara Sacobie, her foster parents Frank and Madeline Sappier, a special auntie Matilda Sapier and long time companion E. Galenski. A mass to celebrate her life will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 11 am. Success She has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has enjoyed the trust of pure women, the respect of intelligent men, and the love of little children, who has filled her life and accomplished her task; who has left the world better than she found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem or a rescued soul; who has never lacked appreciation of Earth's beauty or failed to express it; who has always looked for the best in other and given them the best she had; whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction - God bless you and God Bless America.
