O'GRADY, VERNA JANETH Verna J. O'Grady of Millville passed away October 8, 2005 at her home. Born in Halifax, NS in 1925, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Alice (Grey) Sullivan. Verna was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by her family, caregivers and community. She was a member of the Millville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, the Hawkins Corner Ladies Aid and the OWL's Club. She is survived by her children, Diane McCutcheon (Wayne), Fort McMurray, AB, Pat Allen (Mark), Geary, Jerry O'Grady (Charlotte), Millville, Rosemarie O'Grady (Peter Mabie), Dumfries, and John Michael O'Grady (Diane), Fort McMurray, AB; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Ellen (Nellie) McGrath, Halifax, NS; several nieces and nephews. Verna was predeceased by her husband, H. Gerald O'Grady in 2002, three sisters, Dorothy, Gertrude and Jean and two brothers, William and Ralph. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Otis Drive, Nackawic on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 11 a.m. by Fr. John Beaumaster. Interment will take place in St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters, Beth McCutcheon, Tanya Allen, Amber Hood, Katelynn O'Grady and Amanda Stewart. Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Scott McCutcheon, Robbie McCutcheon, Jeff Allen, Trevor Allen, Jerry O'Grady, Jonathan O'Grady, Christopher Hood, Justin Hood and Michael O'Grady.
