O'REE, GERALDINE ELIZABETH The death of Geraldine O'Ree of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, October 7, 2005. Born in Saint John, NB on January 20, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Pauline (Gordon) Wright and wife of the late Richard O'Ree. She is survived by her sons, Douglas of Fredericton, NB, Laval (Carol) of Torbay, NL and Stephen of Fredericton, NB; her daughters, Geri O'Ree-Hudlin (David) of Mactaquac, NB and Linda O'Ree-Hudlin (James) of Oshawa, ON; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her sister, Audrey Wright of Montreal, PQ; as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Richard; her daughter, Rona and her sister, Evelyn. Mrs. O'Ree's family wish to extend their thanks to Dr. Achla Pond and to the nurses of 4SE during their mother's illness. In abiding by the request of the late Mrs. O'Ree there will be no visitation. There will be a private family service with interment to follow at the Fredericton Rural Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
