FARQUHARSON, ELIZABETH "BETTY" At her home in Charters Settlement, NB Elizabeth "Betty" Farquharson, passed away on October 7, 2005 at the age of 55. Born in Black's Harbour, NB, she was a daughter of the late William and Hazel (Buchanan) Price. She owned and operated a Hairdressing Salon and was partners in a Health Spa. Betty was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, the New Maryland Lions Club, being the first Lady King Lion for three years. She was also affiliated with the RCMP Block Parent program. She is survived by her husband Scott; two children Amanda, Derrick and Duddly; four brothers William (Debbie), Bobby (Lois), Greg (Susan) and Teddy (Ruth); a sister Jackie; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Bertha Farquharson. The family will receive friends at the Faith Baptist Church, New Maryland, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Faith Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 12th, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Larry Matthews officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
