McGIRR, RITCHIE ERSEL Ritchie E. McGirr of Springfield, York Co., NB passed away October 9, 2005 at his home. Born at Dumfries in 1943, he was a son of Bertha (Hoyt) McGirr and the late Angus McGirr. Ritchie enjoyed cribbage and his dogs. He is survived by his mother, Bertha M. (Hoyt) McGirr; a daughter, Alesia Camara, Mississauga, ON; a son, Trevor McGirr, Alberta; two grandchildren, Dolan and Joshua; two sisters, Melissa McGirr (Richard Girard), Montreal, Quebec and Helena McGirr (Stan McGee), Port Cartier, Quebec; a brother, Robert (Ellen Dougherty), United Arab Emirates; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Ritchie was predeceased by a brother, Ralph. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Rev. George Clark officiating. Interment will be in the Lower Pokiok Cemetery.
