RITCEY, SHIRLEY LORRAINE (nee Evans) It is with great sorrow that the family of Shirley Lorraine Ritcey announces her peaceful passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday October 21, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Frank Everett Ritcey and she was predeceased by a son Tommy. She was a loving mother to Kathy (Jim McCollum) of Edmonton AB, Joel (Karen Ritcey) of Waasis NB and Carl (Kelly Ritcey) of Saint John NB, loving Nana to Christopher, Jeffrey, Thomas, Katelyn, Noah and Fletcher. She will also be missed by brother Jim Evans (Ruth) of Wolfville NS. Shirley was born on January 24th, 1933 in Wolfville NS where she met her husband Frank and she eventually settled in Waasis NB. Shirley was a kind and innocent soul who had a lifelong devotion to family. She enjoyed all family activities and regular outings with her friends and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the staff of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for all the kindness shown to Shirley. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday October 25th, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home, with the Reverend Bill MacLeod officiating and a reception to follow.
