LEGERE, HAZEL MARY The death of Hazel Legere of Waterville, NB occurred Thursday, October 27th, 2005 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Cormier) Landry and wife of the late Edward Legere. She was employed at the Hartt Boot and Shoe Factory for many years before retiring in 1985. She was also a member of St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Oromocto. Survived by two daughters, Carolyn Whalen (Charles), Lincoln, NB, Dianne McAleer (Arthur), Waterville, NB; a son, Grant (Cindy), Porter's Lake, NS; a sister, Cecilia Rayworth, Amherst, NS; six grandchildren, Beverly Legere, New Bandon, NB, Maryanne Davies (Robert), Stanley, NB, Chrystal Whalen, Drumheller, AB, Mark Whalen (Nicole), Fredericton, NB, Holly Legere and Jordan Legere, both of Porter's Lake, NS; three great-grandsons, Joshua, Ethan and Zachary Whalen of Fredericton. Predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers Laurie Landry and The Reverend Bernard J. Landry. Visitation will be held Friday, October 28th, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 29th, 2005 at 11:00 am from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Ken Weir officiating.
