HOSSACK, FLORENCE EVANGELINE The death of Florence Evangeline Hossack of Fredericton, wife of the late William Ernest Hossack occurred on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Bloomfield Ridge, NB, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Ella (Palmer) McKay. Mrs. Hossack was a member of the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and an Auxiliary member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #15, Marysville. She is survived by two sons, Frederick Hossack (Jean) of Fredericton and Wayne Hossack (Faye) of Pointe Claire, PQ; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren; one brother, Douglas McKay (Edith) of Boiestown, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Hossack was predeceased by one daughter, Joan McDougall; one son, Winston Hossack; one granddaughter, Barbara Kadoski; five sisters, Verna, Gladys, Alvina, Doreen and Pauline; three brothers, Basil, Herb and Clarence McKay. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 2 pm from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Douglas Blaikie officiating. Interment will be held in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery.
