MERCER, AUSTIN HENRY OSWALD Austin H. O. Mercer of Fredericton and formerly of Nackawic passed away November 4, 2005 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland in 1924, he was a son of the late Austin and Hilda (Rowsel) Mercer. Austin is survived by two daughters, Barbara Dario (James), Richmond, BC and Susan Mitchell (Lorne), Lakefield, ON; three sons, Gordon Mercer, Quesnal, BC, Keith Mercer (Roberta), Nackawic and Barry Mercer (Sherri), Richmond, BC; one sister, Bernice Murray, Pefferlaw, On; one brother, Vincent (Ben)Mercer, Scarborough, ON; four grandsons and four granddaughters, Tara, Whitby, ON, Shanna, Peterborough, ON, Christopher, Petiticodiac, Melissa, Fredericton, Aaron and Alicia, both of Quesnel, BC and Ryan and Eric, both of Richmond, BC; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Ethel B. (Brown) Mercer in 1991 and two brothers, Jack Mercer and Ted Mercer. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev.
