MOODY LEWIS
LEWIS, MOODY Moody Lewis, 88, of Salisbury passed away Tuesday November 8, 2005 at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Monteagle he was the youngest son of the late Lovell and Bessie (Melvin) Lewis. Moody was a veteran of the second world war serving as a Lance Corporal with the RCAF. For over forty years he was self employed as a watchmaker for Dakin and Lewis retiring in 1982. He was a charter member of the Riverview Baptist Church and was a member of the Salisbury Baptist Church. Survived by his beloved wife of 66 years the former Audrey Murray, daughter Janet Parlee (Harold) of Miramichi; grandchildren Mark Lewis, Halifax, Tanya Parlee, Iqaluit NU, Terri Lynne Maltby (Mike), Miramichi; daughter in law Molly Lewis- Weyman, Fredericton and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Merle; sister Maude Horsman; brothers Ralph, Stanley, Chesley, Harrison and Wilfred. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and from where the Funeral will be held Friday November 11 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Interment at Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton. If so desired memorials to the Heart and Stroke or Kidney foundations would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca
