ALLISON DOW HOWLAND
HOWLAND, ALLISON DOW The death of Allison Dow Howland, formerly of Fredericton, occurred on November 16, 2005 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. Born on August 28, 1936 in Marysville, NB, he was a son of the late Bernus and Muriel (Moore) Howland. Mr. Howland was a retired meter repairman for the NB Power Commission. He is survived by his son, Rodney Howland, of Fredericton, NB; two daughters, Susan Stokes (Keith) of Fort McMurray, AB and Kathy Arsenault (Glenn) of Waterloo, ON; one brother, Merle Howland of Fredericton, NB; one sister, Darlene Snyder of Fredericton, NB; her two grandchildren, Penny Stokes and Hilary Arsenault and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lawrence Meade officiating. Interment will take place at Olivet Cemetery, Marysville. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
