AVERY, JOSEPHINE L. The death of Josephine Avery of Oromocto, NB occurred at Gagetown Special Care Home on Monday, November 21st, 2005. Born on March 2nd, 1911 in New Glasgow, NS she was the daughter of the late Simon and Sophie (Poulen) Fougere and wife of the late Alfree Avery. Josephine is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her six grand- children and three great-grandchildren as well as her niece, Mary Ann Fougere of Hammonds Plains, NS. Josephine was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Alfree; her son, John as well as her brothers and her sister. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, November 24th, 2005 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ken Weir officiating.
