GASTON, ROBERT (BOBBY) Mr. Robert (Bobby) Gaston of 510 Main Street, Doaktown passed away Sunday, December 11, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 50. Born in Doaktown, NB he was the son of the late William and Lucy (Robinson) Gaston. He was a member of Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, Doaktown. He was a member of Doaktown Curling Club, Miramichi Handicap Bowling and Miramichi Country Music Hall of Fame. He is survived by six sisters; Margaret Hovey; Elizabeth Neess (Ove); Shirley Harkness (Bill); Sharon Clowater (Merv); Eleanor Gilks (Evelock); Joanne Gaston (friend Mike); six brothers William Gaston; Morrissey Gaston (Exelda); Edward Gaston (Glenna); Ronald Gaston; Wilfred Gaston (Jan); Beverley Gaston (Linda). Besides his parents he was predeceased by one brother Floyd; two sisters-in-law Deanna Gaston and Roberta Gaston; one brother-in-law Wilson Hovey. Mr. Robert (Bobby) Gaston is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 579 Main Street, Doaktown, with visitation today from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday December 14, at 11 am from Our Lady of Announciation Roman Catholic Church, Doaktown, with Father Mark Trzop officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Blissfield. At the request of the family donations to NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, Our Lady of Annunciation Building Fund or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
