Frank Elmer Hetherington , passed away peacefully in the Nanaimo General Regional Hospital on May 1, 2008. Frank was born July 14, 1915, near Stoughton, SK and grew up in the Arcola area and at Souris, MB. He married Alvina Beryl Johnson in Regina on May 9, 1944 and moved to Moose Jaw where they raised their two children and lived for over 50 years. They moved to Nanaimo in 2002 to be closer to family. He is survived by: daughter, Barbara Ruth Tymos, son, Daniel Frank (Barbara) Hetherington; four grandchildren; sister-in-law, Isabel Johnson, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at W.J. Jones and Son Chapel on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Canadian Bible Society, 1034 Louise Avenue, Saskatoon, SK, S7H 2P6.
