MacPHERSON-BELL, JOAN MARIE After a courageous battle with cancer, we regret to announce the death of Joan Marie MacPherson-Bell of Estey's Bridge, NB, wife of the late Merle Bell occurred on December 27, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Vigers "Duke" and Irene (Wharton) Stone. Prior to her retirement, Joan worked in the office of the York Sudbury Charlotte Forest Products Marketing Board. She enjoyed her vacation time traveling to various places with her family. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra MacPherson (Rob Davies) of Winnipeg; one son, Laurie MacPherson (Bonnie) of Fredericton; one grandson, Tyler Davies of Winnipeg, one brother, William Stone (Beverley) of Dumfries; two sisters, Jean McFarlane (Dave) of Fredericton and Muriel Wilkins of Fredericton; brother-in-law, Roy Kitchen and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. MacPherson-Bell was predeceased by one sister, Louise Kitchen and one brother-in-law, Fred Wilkins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North on Friday, December 30, 2005 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 1 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
