Fredrick Charles Warren passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the Union Hospital, Moose Jaw. Fred, in his 94th year, beloved husband of Irene for over 17 years, predeceased by Dorothy. Loving father of Marjorie Conway ( Alf, deceased) of Regina, Rosalie Neufeld (Clarence) of Moose Jaw, Ronald of Saskatoon and step-father of Tina Morris (Malcolm J.) of England. Cherished grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Fred was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church and a choir member for 35 years, singing many solos and duets. Fred was born in Boharm, SK in 1914 where he lived and worked on the farm. He was married to Dorothy on October 15, 1938 and began working at Robin Hood Flour Mill up until his enlistment for WWII. He was in England until 1945 and returned to Moose Jaw where he spent the next 29 years at the Post Office retiring in 1974. He and Dorothy spent the next 10 years in retirement until Dorothy's passing in 1985. After 5 years, he became reacquainted with Irene, an old friend from England. She came for a visit in 1990. The couple were wed in England on February 14, 1991. and have enjoyed the last 17 years together in Moose Jaw. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parkview Funeral Home, 474 Hochelaga St. W. Moose Jaw, with interment of ashes to follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
