LANDAU, BERTA Berta Landau passed away peacefully at Pine Grove Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 4th, 2006. Berta was born in the Czech Republic on October 25th, 1915 and came to Fredericton in 1969 where she has since resided. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Josef and is survived by two sons, Pavel of Germany and Petr and his wife Deborah of Fredericton, as well as four grandchildren, Greg, John, Tanya, and Jann-Paul. At this time, the family wishes to extend most heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the excellent care given to Berta by the staff of Pine Grove, and most especially to the four dedicated and nurturing caregivers who sat by her side daily, attending to her needs and providing such tender and loving care and comfort during her two year stay there. A graveside service will be held at the Sgoolai Isreal Cemetery on Friday, January 6th, 2006 at 1:00 pm. Rabbi Kenneth Zisook officiating.
